Yes, so as one might assume it is stressful when you are engaged, planning a wedding, live 2 hours from your family who is helping you plan a wedding, have new jobs, very few friends in a new city...oh and decide to buy a house after being in the new city for 6 months. Yep, we decided to give up the renting life and put down some roots somewhere and actually pay for something we can paint, hang pictures wherever we want and LIVE in. So we did some searching in Columbia, Ashland and Jeff City for our first major purchase together. We decided to choose a charming house that was built in 1928 and is one of the most popular streets in Jeff City.

Birthday Girl
Birthdays are always my favorite! I love planning parties and being able to see all of my friends. This year we had dinner in Festus at Tanglefoot and had quite the crowd. My favorite part of my birthday is getting my Barbie Birthday Cake, which my parents get me every year. You can laugh, but I love getting one every year. This year she was Bridal Barbie in honor of my engagement and they iced her in ivory, pink and brown which are my wedding colors. She was very beautiful.Grandma also had Barbie Pink Cupcakes made for me Cleaning up Barbie Friends and family singing me Happy Birthday Friends and family enjoying dinner Friends and family enjoying dinner Friends and family enjoying dinner Friends and family enjoying dinner Me and Jeff My dad and mom Me and my sister, Olivia What a wonderful way to turn 27!

Engagement Photos
We had so much fun taking our engagement photos. We went to August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area and downtown St. Charles to take our photos with the very talented Stephen Smith of Stephen's Photography in Arnold, MO. We stayed true to our country theme and had fun acting like we were going to be featured on the cover of a Country Music Album. I can't wait to get them and display them everywhere! Thank you Stephen...and your assistant Allison! The photo's turned out amazing!
